A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our 2026 New Kit Survey.
When we launched this vote just over a week ago, we asked you to help shape 2026 for us, and you certainly delivered. With a record breaking response rate, the data gives us a very clear picture of what you want to see on your workbenches next.
Before we reveal the winner, here is a quick look at some stats behind the results:
- Over 600 individual votes were cast in just seven days.
- We received entries from 32 different countries.
- 56% of voters are existing Armortek customers.
The Results: Your 2026 Roadmap
The voting was hard-fought 😊, particularly in the middle of the pack. With that said, we had one clear winner that took the top spot and a second place model that came close on it's heels.
We are therefore very pleased to announce the next two kits to go into production after the Panzer IV Ausf H., are the Sd. Kfz 222 and the Centurion Mk5.
We know we said we would take a little break from German armour for our next kit - but the response for the Sd Kfz 222 was so over whelming that we had to include it. This also gives us a nice mix of tracked and wheeled models and is a good entry point for new people to the world of Armortek.
THE SD KFZ 222
The Sd.Kfz. 222 Leichter Panzerspähwagen remains one of the most aesthetically striking reconnaissance vehicles of the Second World War, With its sleek, multi-angled hull and its distinctive hexagonal open-topped turret, it was originally designed to provide German divisional reconnaissance units with high speed and four-wheel-drive agility,
The Armortek Sd Kfz 222 was last produced almost 20 years ago and will feature four wheel drive and four wheel steering as per the original. In addition, for our 2026 release we will completely rework the suspension to feature prototypical sprung suspension with dampers and will feature pressed steel wheels as on the Series 1 4x4 car we made.

THE CENTURION MK5
Widely regarded as one of the most successful tank designs of all time, the Centurion Mk 5 represents the pinnacle of British post-war armoured development. It was the "Main Battle Tank" before the term was even fully defined, serving with distinction from the Korean War through to the deserts of the Middle East. Its reputation was built on a perfect trifecta of thick, sloped armour, a powerful Rolls-Royce Meteor engine, and the devastating accuracy of the 20-pounder main gun.
Last produced by Armortek almost 14 years ago, the new Armortek Centurion Mk5 will be given a full design review, similar to what we have done for the Panzer IV Ausf H.
One feature that has been asked for is to have STEEL TRACKS instead of the usual aluminium tracks. Let us know if this is something that would be of interest and we will look to go with the majority vote. Please note that we will not offer both options - it will be one or the other.
