Designed in the late 50s and early 60s the Chieftain was a evolution of the highly successful Centurion MBT and marks Armortek’s first foray into post war vehicles.

The Armortek Chieftain kit

The Armortek kit is based on research of the various Chieftain tanks at the Tank Museum and the material in the archives. As always, our thanks to the team there for all the support that they give us.

Although we are very early in the design process the approximate measurements of the kit will be:
Length: 1.80m (5ft 10in) with gun in forwards position
Width: 0.6m (2ft)
Weight – to be confirmed once the prototype is built.

In addition, our intent is to cast the turret, much like the original and provide the rubber pads for the track links. There may be one or two other surprises on the kit, but they need a bit more work first.

Our production run is strictly limited as we have a tight schedule to get the King Tiger out by the end of this year, so if you are interested, reserve early to avoid disappointment.

Shipping is planned for later summer 2019.

PRICING

The kit is priced at £4,295 plus VAT (where applicable) and shipping.
Shipping costs will only be known once the prototype has been built, which we plan on being around the start of summer.
