What tank would you like Armortek to make?
Armortek seem to be fixated on German WW.II tanks. Undoubtably they may well have been the top tanks of the period but they were so overengineered that took too long to build, were complicated to maintain and too heavy for most roads, so i can understand their appeal.
however what about British tanks of the period or late 40's. What would you like to see from Armortek, a Comet? Crusader? or some other tank.
Surely if there is enough interest we might see one in the future.

Valentine mkIX - used by UK and lend lease to Russia.
Matilda II
Crusader (A15)
I'd actually really like a CVRT Scorpion or Scimitar in 1/6 scale.
Cheers

Re: What tank would you like Armortek to make?
I’ve just had a rant on another post about such wish lists but hey ho, no-one ever said I practised what I preached:
Chieftain (and I’ve got a list of other interested parties) because it was the tank I spent most of my time on and it looks the part and Mark would have to get to grips with stabilisation at last.
Matilda II because the RTR won a well deserved VC in it in the desert
Challenger 1 because it isn’t a Leopard 1 or 2 (neither of which have seen much operational service, notwithstanding the gallant Danes and Canadians in Afghanistan)
And then the wildcards:
M-42 Duster and M-50 Ontos, because they’d complement my Vietnam Aussie Cent and they’re different
Steel helmet on and back to the bunker....

Re: What tank would you like Armortek to make?
Knowing how good a runner the Comet is, I would heartily recommend a Cromwell. Especially as something that could be modified to produce a whole range of variants. Thinking outside the box, a British armoured car, with turret would be neat. Finally, my equivalent of a Famo, is a DUKW, something that could appeal to a wide range of modellers.

Any of the following , Scammell Pioneer tractor inc recovery example, Crusader, Matador truck (just the most hansom of vehicles) Matilda and how about a M270 for something more modern ?

HVSS Sherman
Many variant's could be made from the chassis including the awesome Israel M51 Super Sherman!

Ones that I would likely be interested in.
Chieftain late mark - I fixed them before Chally 1 came in.
Churchill 7 - Good scope for variants ( funnies ) - ARRV, ARK, Crocodile etc.
FV432 - Also good scope for variants- I would do it as a barrow with penthouse, wouldn´t want a tiffy wagon.
