Hi,

last days I printed some details for the engine compartment. I think it was for the cooling and ventsystem.

Sidewall left with dryfitted parts.

The complete compartment, looks good, but not much space around.

JT_117.jpg
Then I decited to print new airfilters because there are some issues and the parts are very thick.

This is the firewall behind the fighting compartment with some details like bars and connectors.

First paint on the engine.

More paint and some decent weathering...

And this is all you can see through the hatch :? (and the pipes are still missing yet...)

Hi Sascha,
Like the 3D printed engine air filter details. Are these 4 handles printed too or metal parts added later on ?

Hi,

no the Handles are from 1mm brass. It is possible to print, but you need support structure there. And then is the risk much higher to break the handles while remove the supports.
