I'd like "42".................... "The Ultimate Answer".............. (Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy) 8)

FV4201

Anyway, every body knows the best vehicles built are at the end of the run. All the glitches have been ironed out.

Hi Youngjae Bae

Which option packs?
I'm sorry for the late reply.
In the mail I received from Monique,
Developed for Jagdtiger, King Tiger, and Chieftain,
Motion pack, sound pack, recoil pack and smoke pack. However, more accurate information is expected to be available from Armortek.

Option packs for the Chieftain are still under development.

Today we were testing out the sounds files & have a series of 2 short videos:

Video 1 - Engine startup, acceleration, deceleration and engine shutdown. https://youtu.be/Tro4NApgPiI

Video 2 - Fuel pump start, auxiliary engine start & increasing RPM, main engine start, main engine shutdown & fuel pump shutdown. https://youtu.be/uUbrBmm_d3E

Main Gun & Machine gun need a few tweaks before they are ready for primetime.

Sound good, for realisms sake I would suggest a few seconds at GUE on max revs before main engine starting, and then you need the metadyne whine to put the gun-kit on-line before the vehicle moves.
I seem to recall that sometimes depending on the state of charge of the hull batteries and their ability to maintain the required voltage, the gun-kit could drop out when the bus-bars were loaded to start the ME and the gunner would have to re-start the gun-kit before the tank then moved.

School boy error today.
Whilst testing recoil, managed to short the batteries and set fire to the electronics. Word to the wise, don't have bare wires in the hull and shield the battery terminals!
No pictures I'm afraid - it was too embarrassing.

No need to be too embarrassed. I´ve experienced trained army technicians do worse. One during Gulf War 1 was told to ensure that only one side light and one tail light on each vehicle was operational. Rather than briefing the crews and collecting in the bulbs ready for afterwards, he took a pair of side-snips and cut the harnesses. I had to repair them when they got back to Germany, in excess of 60 vehicles.
