M3 Production Validation Build

Post by Armortek » Thu Feb 14, 2019 11:14 pm

Some pictures from the second last step in our process (last step is packing).
This is Production Validation, where we make sure that everything that we have made actually fits together correctly and the manuals and packing lists are correct. So far, so good !!

Between posting on facebook and instagram, I forgot to post on the forum !

Here are some of the earlier picture - more to follow next week. Unfortunately the heat treatment of the volute springs is delayed by a week, so can't get the tank on the ground yet.

Did you see the weld seams in the last photo? I wonder how that was done.

One can do amazing things with a ball-nose end mill and the right programming!

Cheers and beautiful job right there!

Wow. They look just like weld seams at that angle.

Hi Guys
I am so impressed with the quality of this model I have today ordered
the Lee and motion and sound kit which will come in April.

I have the Famo and Pak 43/41 that arrived on the 7th of December 2018 to get going on
and a garden railway to build this year so I think I will be busy.
