Found this 1/12 scale Lancaster last summer, it had been flown, but not crashed, all of the ic engines had been stripped out and cowls cut, the landing gear gone, wing servos had the wiring cut off, and perspex turrets damaged, but the original paintwork although scuffed looked good, its markings were for 49 Squadron based at Scampton, it seemed like a good idea to get it to a reasonable condition, I was never going to fly it, that would have entailed cutting into the wings and running servos wires as well as installing motors, so fitted ball-races to the engine cowls, so the propellers could rotate, I made the landing gear and fitted electric retracts, so today I thought I would see it for the first time assembled, still not completed, bomb bays to be fabricated, now I have realised this is not something you can put on a shelf, or hang from my ceiling, 10 foot wing span used a 12 inch figure for scale, now what do I do with it
