It is time for a little update with the first electric components like loud speaker, battery tray, some relais, smoker and batteries - painted to see only a black surface from outside through the gratings.

Hi Martin,

This Elefant is one of the kind. Watching your photos is an enjoyment.

Found in this photo there are two cylinders (circled). What are their purpose ?

In my Elefant, I turn two drive motors & mounts 90° in upright direction. No problem at all (only possible in Elefant). I think this will save more interior space for other usage.

Just my two cent. Nobody else have done this, yet I don't think it's a bad idea.

Regards,
Lerh Chang

Hi Chang,
thank you for the compliments.
The two cylinders are the new feet of the bridge for the electronic devices above the big batteries.

In the meantime i mounted the barrel, the recoil and all the electric components including the 60 Watt amplifier from Benedini.
I moved the servo for making the hight of the barrel above the bearing of the barrel because in the underground was no more place for it.
