Hello all,Happy New Year.
I have someone interested in my blank firer for a KT. He is concerned though that he may need a shotgun licence to either transport in his car or to own, as I suppose it could be upgraded to fire live rounds.I didn't think this is the case, but maybe someone on the Forum can give me a definitive answer.
Cheers Dunc

Re: Blank Firer
It would be interesting to know of there have been any changes to the laws since the blank firer was designed and approved (Phil W?) but my understanding is that no licence is required to purchase or transport blank shells.
If it was modified to fire live rounds then that's a whole different court case

Re: Blank Firer
No change blanks is blanks, so long as you don't keep kilos of the things as you then get into the mass explosive content/storage laws,(a simple black powder licence would be required then) the unit was designed to make it impossible to convert to fire live rnds. Regards Phil.
