Hi Dave,
I’ve been looking too for a while now. I think armortek should reissue these. Hint, hint.

Re: Elefant smoke unit
Gentlemen,
Thank you all for your help and input. Does anyone have a video showing the smoke coming out of the sponson floor? I checked YouTube but couldn’t find anything. Just trying to decide if it’s worth rerouting the piping.
Thanks
Wael

Re: Elefant smoke unit
John, no ridicule from me, I was thinking of 3 small fans to cover the rear opening.
Adrian, I thought the elefant and Ferdinand is the same thing, Ferdinand being the initial name. Please correct me if I’m wrong. I really do appreciate all the help

Just to be clear, it’s blow back into the inside of the tank that is the issue.

Re: Elefant smoke unit
Hello gentlemen, It’s where the smoke exits the tank in the rear that is the problem. I I build the unit according to the instructions. It seems about 60% of the smoke exits the tank and the rest rises back up inside the tank. Why didn’t armortek run the piping like Chris Frys setup? I am using baby...

Elefant smoke unit
Hi guys, I just installed the smoke unit and am a little disappointed at the amount of smoke being generated inside the tank. I am trying to think of ways to cover the rear area where the smoke system pipes are. I wanted to know what other people may have done and used to rectify this issue. I have ...

Re: Left tracks get stuck on turns
Hello members, First, thank you all for trying to help. Please note the tank has been tested while on stands. Did not notice any kind of binding. Also the tank has no issue driving straight forward or reverse. Both tracks move without issue. It’s only turning on grass that the left tracks seem to lo...

Re: Left tracks get stuck on turns
Hi Brian,
I’m pretty sure it’s not the battery power. I have a power/voltage/current monitor LCD and my voltage is 26.5V. And the left side that jams on grass works fine on pavements and rock/gravel.

Left tracks get stuck on turns
Hello members, I drove my Elefant for the first time today and it was very enjoyable. But when ever I go into grass, the left tracks will not turn in the opposite direction as they should. Only in grass. Left or right, same problem. On rocky or pavement terrain I have no issues. I know the grass put...

Re: FAMO radio setup
Thanks to everyone for there comments. Tom, I haven’t yet driven the FAMO yet but running the tracks while lifted I can see binding issues. Especially as I go faster. Armortek, how much mixing should I have for turning the tracks ? Right now, I have it setup where even a small amount of turn on the ...
