Re: Armortek A34 Comet......

Hello Willy,

Last week we were speaking about a swap of my unbuilt WW1 British Mark IV tank for your Comet. You were looking into it. Didn't hear from you again and now a friend warns me that you go on with the sale.

Regards,

Re: Transom Clamps

Hello Dave,

very nice clamps although for 2.5 Meters of bridge I might need a lot of them. :D Are you planning to do more detailing for the Bailey Bridge?

Kind regards,

Pieter

Re: Wooden Ribands

Hello Adrian,

I am interested in the wooden ribands. I would like to have them for 5 (five) bridge decks and 2 (two) ramps so 14 (fourteen) in all.

Kind regards,

Re: Building the Double Panel Bailey Bridge.

Hello Stephen, thanks for your kind invitation. I would if I could but I am afraid my Bailey Bridge will stay in the Netherlands. I expect the crew of my Morris, Limber and 25 Pounder Gun and their grand stage - The Bridge - on which they will be displayed sometime this perhaps next year will be ins...

Building the Double Panel Bailey Bridge.

On December 8th, 2017 the UPS driver lightened his van and filled up my small hall with the bridge kit and extras. After assembling a panel for training purposes (I couldn't help myself not to) in the weekend, I disassembled it and started primering lugs, braces, transom seats, connectors and so on....

Re: The new Armortek Kit - countdown started

Dear Friends and fellow trainees in the art of patience, in the Netherlands I have minutes ago uncovered a plot to stir up things about the new limited Armortek model among 1/6th scale tankers aspiring to be think-tankers. Personally I thought of the F1 Renault tank, companion to the Mark 1. Someone...

Re: detailing the gunsight of the Pak 43/41

Hello PAK 43/41 builders, ofcourse more details of the gunsight could be researched perhaps in Bovington, with any of you, or in the Imperial War Museum. For detailing the gunsight delivered in great detail by Armortek I found the top half of the instrument in a book about the German optics firm Ca...

Re: detailing the gunsight of the Pak 43/41

Thanks / bedankt Maarten,

you've just given me another reason to visit Zeeland for its WW II German coastal defences, museums and good sea food :D

Kind regards,

Pieter

Re: US Halftrack wanted

Dear Mr. Silcock, I have two kits: an M16 in early stage of build and an M3 not started. The kits are on several locations in my garage and in storage. I shall have to collect or make inventory of the kits when the weather is better. I am willing to part with both as one sale. I also have a large co...

Re: 17PDR / 25 PDR "Pheasant"

Hello Marcus, thanks. I am searching the web for books and photographs because the 25 PDR and the 17 PDR are rather well covered in my library and museums in the Netherlands but the Pheasant is a too rare bird. I might even have Cyber Hobby's ammo, bought over a decade ago. Kind regards, Pieter Koops

17PDR / 25 PDR "Pheasant"

Dear fellow builders,

I am building the 25 Pdr field gun and expecting the arrival of the 17 Pdr AT Gun. I wonder if there is among you anyone (as I am) thinking about to build the above mentioned 17 Pdr AT Gun mounted on the 25 Pdr carriage named <<Pheasant>>?

Kind regards,

Pieter
