Thanks Andrew I removed the Zim from under the rear mud guards as it did not let them sit down properly well spot on that one ..Dale

Hello Adrian , you have about 1/2 hour to play with it . If your not happy wash it off and start again it take all day to dry very good stuff sticks like glue a light sand then just prime it ..Dale

Nearly done , added the track tow rope cable onto the side then finished off the running gear . Next Zim the rear plate and refit all the hardware ...Dale

Here are some updated photos on my mid tiger 1 build . Deck work is just about done lots of Mike's parts added just need to add tow ropes then tidy up ready for zim .. . I put the tracks on yesterday morning this is the best stage of the build so far . I've only added two hex head bolts and nuts to the out side road wheels as they will be removed for etch priming later whilst the tiger was on the ground I gave her a test push run . Thanks everyone . Per your comments mean a lot , Ragnar I've ordered M3 X 16 mm button head screws that way they are low profile like wheel studs on a box trailer this way they will clear the following rubber tyre. Adrian good idea about the groves in the road wheels I don't think paint will smooth ...

Today I started detailing the road wheels all the outer wheels had a small grove added plus I'm going to add studs to the outer single bearing hub so as to have nuts on the outer wheels and then taping a thread to the double hub to take M3 hex bolts ... Yves the fixing end cap head screw I would not use loctite you could use longer 6mm and add a lock nut if you wont .. The spring thing is in all the kits It's a helicoil it makes it hard to strip the threads by over tighening .. Dale

Hi Yves I used the M4 grubs screws I filed a nice flat on the torsion bars ends 23 mm long 2.5mm - 3mm wide I did have to put each torsion bar in the lathe to take off just enought to fit them in tight in the axle end and the fixing end I then did up the grub screws nice and tight with a bit of supe...
