Thanks Steve, i was over looking at the Elefant build, another gem, slow progress on the dash, made the support brackets that sit under the dash and control switches, i used a couple of michael matata part's including his excellent dials, the switches i made of brass and steel, still plenty to work ...

Looks good steve, the bolts and zim pattern looks tricky, a lot of attention to detail on that front end, regards simon.

Thank you fellow builder's for the encouragement, on to another part, the petrol tank, i have made a start on the holding straps and Fuel tap, also the throttle handles on the dash, plenty of little details in this part of the vehicle, thanks for the input, regards simon.

only a small amount achieved this weekend, i have started milling out the Dash bulkhead to accommodate the wiring and lights and to give some Dash depth behind, a slow process, regards simon.

Vince, Steve, it would be great if this part is produced the same as your superb Bosch Headlight, you can count me in for several when made, an item that is needed in 1/6 scale, good luck on this venture, regards simon.

Good Topic Vince, This item has to be made of Metal, they always are placed in a vulnerable position on the vehicles, where they get knocked, i have had plastic and white metal versions and all brake to easily, an after market working, steel, Brass,cast notek would be a great addition to the 1/6 Tan...

Stephen is correct, don't get bogged down in color selection, just pick the three camo colors you like, regardless of what year, campaign, even vehicle, don't forget models need to be slightly lighter in color than the real vehicle, due to their smaller size, i use any product i like the look of, ru...

Thanks Stephen, it seems an age since the last Model Tank get together, i have missed it this year, this is sunday evening's progress, started on the dash, fairly easy but all hand work, cutting etc, surprising how much more there is to add to this part, regards simon.
