Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Nicely done Vince! Have you found any difference in performance by using different spring tensioning, besides the obvious faster recoil with strongest tension?

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Hi Vince Well I tried adjusting the spring tension, as in your video, but mine still continued to complete 2 revolutions before stopping, whatever the spring tension. So I tried operating it by hand, as you did and it stopped every time! But, on closer examination I had my own “eureka” moment..... I...

Re: Brian's 2017 NO. 10 LATE TIGER 1 BUILD

Hi Brian

Yes, looks like you have a bit more room by using one battery? I did find that the sound was muffled when my speakers were in that position, that’s why I moved them! Have you tried 360 degree rotation of your turret with full elevation to check clearance of recoil motor v speakers?

Re: Brian's 2017 NO. 10 LATE TIGER 1 BUILD

Thanks Tom, since those photos were taken, I’ve made a bracket for the remote switch. Also fitted the smoker switch to a bracket under the grill on the other side of the tank. I had to drop the battery tray down as low as possible to allow for clearance of the upright battery to the decking support....

Re: Tiger Day - (27 April 19) & TankFest (28/30 June 19)

Evening all!
I’ve just registered for Tankfest and noticed that It only covers the 28th and 29th (Friday and Saturday) of June? Has anyone else noticed this?

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Morning Vince I also meant to say that tile adhesive does tend to be more brittle than say Milliput, so It will show the colour of the adhesive if you knock it? Thanks for the info, unfortunately I’m just using an IPad, not a computer, so photos are in library, not as files? I could email them? Grea...

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Hi Vince
I’ve used tile adhesive on my Tiger, It’s quick, easy to apply and gives an acceptable result. It’s also easy to paint. I’d post some photos but haven’t a clue how to!

Re: Logistics!

Hi Stephen, thank you for the welcome and the information! Yes, I was talking to Steve at the Armortek open day recently and he mentioned his method of 4x2s!
Thank you Mark also for your suggestion of carpet tiles.

Re: Logistics!

Hi Adrian, thanks for prompt reply and information! So the rubber sheeting would be ok if it stayed in place? I’ll investigate securing solutions! I have tie down points in the back of my car that I can use, also ratchet straps so I’ll experiment!

Logistics!

Good morning all, I’m a new Armortek Tiger 1 owner and this is my first post, so please be gentle with me! I’ve got to the point where I want to load my tank into my car. I have ramps (aluminium), but would like to know of any hints or tips regarding covering ramps with material to aid grip and also...
