Re: Burning Question

Hi All It's tricky, I like the idea of Tank Tank Tank, but think of the versions of the Famo you could have: Open Top, Covered, Crane and of course Armoured with an 88 option. Probably the biggest mobile thing on the battle field. As long and taller as Jagd Tiger (without the 128mm) Quite a monster ...

Re: Burning Question

Hi All I suppose the main problem with it all is time and there's so much to select from. The mystery new product, the pre owner builds, part owner built's or someone's "Not got around to it yet, mint inbox" I would dearly love to buy new, but it must be have the WoW factor to me. I'm sure the plani...

Burning Question

Hi All With the year drawing to a close I wondered what will be the next project from Armortek? Will it be another cold war warrior? an upgrade? or a revamp? For me I would like to see a Technical model, Something to inspire, Something with the ability to be built with individuality, Upgradeable and...

Re: Armortek at bovington 30th June / 1st July 2012?

Hi All Will there be an oppertunity to take Armortek tanks to the show and maybe to Armortek stand, show and drive around etc? Is any one else going to take their tanks too? I'm sure Mark 1 would love some competition. I going anyway but it would be a shame to take the KT on around trip of 500 miles...

Re: Moving Little Guys (Anamatronics)

Hi Sym, It's a good product, the neck system is very good. I see from the kit, you have made mods to the supplied parts too, ball joints and crank arms etc. Just like I did. With legs too now. the little guys will be getting out and about. Lets hope we don't get into the realms of Major Chip Hazard ...

Re: Moving Little Guys (Anamatronics)

Hi John, The bag is made from an old battery cover from an electric wheel chair, It's thick and reasonably fire proof. That there KT your doing looks mean, you'll have to show us your efforts when you get your little guys sorted. If anyone can shed some light on posting moving pictures in a simple f...

Right, last edition http://i1088.photobucket.com/albums/i333/John_Clarke/littleguys14.jpg The little guys are mounted on a scrap piece of alloy plate elevated slightly for the commanders hatch, It's bolted to the underside of the turret lid, painted black to hide it away. Access is pretty good in th...

Re: Moving Little Guys (Anamatronics)

Hi to all Well John, I did say it was the hardest part, First there's the choice of clothing. once the clothes are on I did't want to take them off. Then there was the getting them on without ripping an arm off or tearing the cloth. The hands and head were left off, the right arm was allowed to flex...

Re: Moving Little Guys (Anamatronics)

Part 2 http://i1088.photobucket.com/albums/i333/John_Clarke/KT%20rebuild/littleguys8.jpg Before mounting the arm/bearings, on both front and back mouldings, I carved out as much material as possible around the bearing mountings to allow free movement for the pivot/crank arms. I also removed a large ...

Moving Little Guys (Anamatronics)

Hi all It's probably been done, but I promised Churchill that if I got round to building the little guys, I would show the build. I brought three kits last year, two for me and one for Joe, a Comet owner. In my a pinion a must have. I built one kit, but made a few small mods which were improved on t...

Armortek at bovington 30th June / 1st July 2012?

Hi, I don't get to go to many shows due work shift rota and fixed holidays. Sadly cannot go to Bovington on the 31st March (day shift). So due to having a weekend pass mid summer, wondered if anything had been booked for the Bovington 30th June/1st July show.

Merc coupe

Hi Padge The Merc coupe is one of those strange chineze models 1/5 scale, but closer to 1/6 with some crazy add on's. R/C, Lights, sound and a curious disco light to rock sound function from the spare wheel. Makes a good looking staff car though delicate in construction. Nice to see Adolf driving an...
