Stolen Quad

Morning all. I may be grasping at straws but my Quad, limber and 25pdr were stolen from my house in South Worcestershire last Friday 25th January along with the Spectrum Dx6 transmitter. As it is a rather unique, niche model it may well be offered for sale in the West Midlands or even further afield...

Think I've done it. It's 'B' that's causing concern. Or it may be a bubble!

Re: Unidentified resin objects

A combination of rushing and poor memory was responsible for the photo failure. I'll get it sorted on the morrow. I'll check Dave's post again and see if I can spot it. Thanks for your help.

That's the big one, Phil. Any idea where the little one lives?

Unidentified resin objects

Back at the bench with my 25pdr and trying to identify two small items on the Armorpax upgrade set. I'm having a mare uploading a photo so I'll try and describe them. They are two tear shaped base plates with what can best be described as an egg cup and it's very shallow friend attached. I can't fin...

Decals or Transfers in 1:6th

Can anyone point me toward a supplier of 1/6th decals for my Quad? I have neither the printer nor expertise to try myself.

Re: Quad Winch Cable Diameter

Whilst the cable size is now more or less sorted, and in the absence of a fairlead, is there a specific route the cable should take from the winch drum over the pulleys or was it just a case of "pot-luck"? They (the pulleys) seem to be awfully far apart which makes me think a figure of eight route t...

Re: Wiring up for newbies

Chris, thank you. I've always been leery of rc and servos and so forth. Your explanation is just wot I need. And having just downed a bottle of Cyprus's finest ale I will wait until tomorrow to set to. It'll also give the two tyres I glued up backwards and had to demount , a chance to cure again! No...

A beautiful model, Dave, and a great finish. Which paint have you used? It's exactly the shade I'm looking for.

Lovely work

Many thanks, Adrian. I'll give it a go and if Chris happens to read this perhaps he will let me in on the trick of getting the quart into the pint pot!

Wiring up for newbies

Hi, Quad builders. I have a small problem that I am sure someone out there can help with. I have got to the point of setting the Motion Pack with all its attendant gubbins into my Quad I noticed that when fixing the steering servo as described in stage 32 the lead isn't long enough to enable both it...
