Re: Bailey Bridge in the Central African Republic

France has promised a massive aid package to CAR, part of which is to be spent building bridges to open up access throughout the country. I wonder if they are planning on using the current incarnation of the Bailey Bridge ? Adrian. Spot on. France & the EU are driving a project called "Recovery and...

How about an open day on the Sunday of Tankfest to catch potential customers on their way home ?
Logistically that would not work for us as we will be at TankFest as well.

Instead we will have an open day on the 15th Sept - the day after Tiger Day which is on the 14th Sept.

Re: Armortek Product Catalogue

Thanks for the feedback and glad to see the catalogue is going down well.
The number of downloads managed to crash our server twice last night :?

Those of you who were the very first to download a copy may have spotted the "intentional" mistake. Thanks to Kevin H for bringing it to our attention.

Re: Spectrum Transmitter.

Hello Glen, I have the Spektrum DX8G2 with a AR8010T receiver, I would go for the extra channels. My only gripe is that the receiver sockets are very tight, on the plus side, no chance of the radio lead plugs pulling out while you are in the air....Mick Agree. A good solution is to pre-wire your re...

Re: Spectrum Transmitter.

Thank you for the replies,so would a dx7 be the recommend Radio? Glen. I think the DX7 may be discontinued, but not 100% sure. We use the DX6 and AR610 as our favoured combination. Reliable and trustworthy. 6 Channels, but that is all you need on our kits so far (except the Rolls Royce and unless y...

Re: Solid wheels for the RR Armoured Car

In between M3 production we have made a start on the Rolls Royce solid wheels. The first part has been made - 2 more parts to go (hub and cap), but should not take much longer. We are only making 5 sets (8 wheels ... 2 front, 2 spare and 4 for the rear). IMG_5177.JPG IMG_5178.JPG IMG_5179.JPG IMG_51...

Re: Radiator shutter frame etc. and torque tube halves.

As Mick said, the holes on the torsion tube are there for cosmetic purposes only. One of the reasons we did not have the rivets going all the way through the both EP0210 and EP0202 is that we wanted to leave EP0202 free to twist with the rear suspension. Therefore we do not recommend fixing parts EP...

Taxi from Southampton Airport to Otterbourne is under £20 each way, according to this website:
We can also look into an Elefant shuttle service. Recommend packing some extra 36Ah batteries in that case though.
