Yesterday we were at the Tank Museum to record the sound of the Chieftain startup for our sound module. Enjoy the video! The typical voltage reading of a fully charged 12V lead acid battery will be around 12.7V . Therefore, in a 24V set up, at full charge the voltage should read around 25.4V. If the reading is only 24V then your batteries will need charging. Note these value vary for other battery chemistries. Kian

Next step has been to add some texture to the metal. This has been done with a fine car filler. To get the right consistency, the filler is left to dry out a bit to give it a "tacky" texture. Machining of the turret has started. First op has been to mill a flat surface and a recess for the turret ring to eventually fit.

Ruler is just there to give a size comparison .. that is not really how we measure :-)

Actually It has been discussed Kevin. :)
We have no plans at the moment though as there will not be one version that suits all, but we are looking at ways to make handling and building heavy kits easier.
