Re: Centurion Bridgelayer

hello david, like everyone else i am fascinated by what you have achieved here.As someone who will be just building the centurion as it came out of the box,(well almost)it is so exciting to see what people like you with the acquired skills to do it can do with an armortek kit. It looks also that you...

Re: prices has dropped ???

Just to add a little to my previous comments, we all have to look at the current world economic situation. Its no surprise that with things as they are people trying to sell a built model, even those finished to the highest possible standards will struggle to get a decent return on what they origina...

Re: prices has dropped ???

Hi Dan, i bought a Centurion kit last year with delivery of the kit just prior to xmas, i couldn't afford the motion pack and sound pack at the time of the kit purchase and in any case wanted to take things slowly. After several attempts at actually buying one, (and convincing the wife) i ordered on...

Re: centurion hull holes

Hi Ray, looking on page 24 of the instruction manual it looks to me these are the holes made for attaching the return rollers that go above the main wheels. I havent got to the stage of build you are at so had a quick look at the instructions where you can clearly see the holes on the pictures and w...

Re: TANK TRACK PAINTING AND WEATHERING

hi sean, well at least you are giving it a try, there are many aspects of building and detailing these things that i have no hope in improving but the painting of it all is going to be the most enjoyable part for me. I am no artist, my skills you could liken to a 5 year old when it comes to doing a ...

Re: CENTURION FITTINGS

hi kevin, yes its the same gun model, the mount is a problem and i have scoured the web for decent close ups and exactly how to fit etc. I am still working on that, i did buy another browning, the aerlier 1917 model with a nice mount which allows the ammo can to clip on the left side etc but of cour...

Re: Paul & Robin's Centurion

Hi robin, luckily i only have the 2 bolts to sort out, it really is a minor fix, i would leave the bolts untouched, i drilled into the alloy side plate just enough (about 1mm or so)for the bolts to sit deeper so that the heads were flush with the sides, they can then be filled later. It would have b...

Re: Paul & Robin's Centurion

Hi robin, i only have one complaint about the armortek kit, the instructions. Mind you i'm used to tamiya, hasegawa etc type instructions for plastic kits and R/C cars. I personally found the diagrams no real help to be honest it took me quite a while to sort out even the basic hull. I think close u...
