Thanks Allan, I think I will connect the battery to a three way switch, this way i can charge using a socket.

Hi Adrian, this sounds like a good idea, but I thought the seperate battery
acted as a failsafe, just in case the motors pulled an excessive load on the batteries, and dropping the voltage on the B.E.C, or is this unlikey

CHARGING THE RECEIVER BATTERY

Hi can anyone help, I am trying to enclose all of the electronics, in the halftrack, and for ease and aesthetic reasons, would like to connect a Y lead to the receiver battery, so it could be charged in situ; if the main control pannel / fuse box was turned off, would there be any problems. regards ...

Hi Gill, I think it would be a good idea to have each model listed in its own section, although if you used SEARCH on the old forum, it listed the results in date order
