Oh, yes!!! dog mines are pretty similar to Sticky Mines... not damaging tracks, but really poisonous gas!!!
Actually I am growing a couple of Pyrenean Mastiffs. When the will be grown up, I will try to adopt 'em as "tank recovery dogs".

Re: Gravel & KT's dont mix

Ice was a most common problem. Ice is not strong, BUT if it gets in a large part of the tracks.... it can withstand a lot of power....and damage it. that is an ice piece would be cracked by the tank, but if the tank stops for a while leaving the ice melt and ice up again hard fixed to a wide area......

Re: Gravel & KT's dont mix

Hello, I've noticed that a tank is the best way to "eradicate the annoying grass in your garden". With large turns it's ok, but in narrow turns everything gets in the tracks. Also small stones and thick mud could be a problem, like snow. In snow leaving the tracks cool down for a while could be righ...

PLAYGROUND

Hello everyone! Hope You all are enjoying the time and having time to run the tanks. I have a small home, with a little garden covered with grass. Nice place to play around, but after a few tours the wet ground is giving way and the grass is simply "eradicated". So my wife is not exactly happy about...

Re: Foliage

Will try to send you some pics of my "olivastro"... it's a plant very similar to Olive plant, with really small leaves in bonsai art. But needs an italian/greek front configured tank (hard to see olives in the russland steppes)

Re: Foliage

A "funny and crazy idea"... maybe BONSAI ???
In a good bonsai also leaves should be properly "scaled down"..

Re: SdKfz 222 in Italy

Hello, I have two questions, the first serious, the second is a mistake I've done and do not find a solution   1) I remember that my grandfather had a mechanical plant during the war. He had a big machine to rectify the big motors (up to tank motors), so the Germans requisitioned the pla...

Re: SdKfz 222 in Italy

After a long time, finally the first test with the new lube in the differentials. Actually I am pretty satisfied with the result. Made a test of the "running chassis" with a 5cm (2 inch) obstacle. 1 tyre was completely free to run and rotate. Anyway I got sufficient power transmission to the remaini...

really a great work.
I suppose you'll have to use a specific Tx-Rx set just for the animatronics.

Re: Infra red battle systems

Hello Marcel, no problem at all. I am just a "simulation maniac". I started wargaming (boardgaming) more than 25 years ago, and alway concentrated on realism rather than playability. It's just a very personal matter. Many gamers prefer to have a joyful and fast playing game, others prefer a 80pages ...

Re: Infra red battle systems

Hello, I see it pretty difficult to organize. I have been playing "extreme" air soft for more than a decade. This involves the use of many IR instruments for night skirmish. We also use some "military issue/grade" items, so I have a pretty good idea of the whole thing First issue realistic distance ...
