Re: I know you've heard it all before!!

I prefer LiFePo overall.
Light, compact, can be positioned everywhere. Fast to be charged. No leaks, no explosions.
With good deep charge/discharge performance

Damned expencive....

Re: Tank battles

The "Miles Tag"is able to do most of it. It is used to fire upon Human sized targets up to 3-400mt, more or less a little bit bigger than a a 1:6th tank it works on multiple receivers (some kind of receivers chains), commonly on the helmet, and the body; eventually also on arms and upper legs. It al...

Tank battles

Some time ago I red about the possibility to fight some tank battles. The original idea was to use the small Tamiya system for IR tank battles. Actually I was not very fond about it, due to the very short range of the system, too short to look barely realistic. But recently I came across the Laser-T...

Suggestion for the forum

Hello, I would like to suggest a small modification/improvement to the forum. For each sub-forum (i.e. Panther, Tiger, Comet and so on...) to place a "stick post" in the "upper area"or "Announcements" area, open to posts by the fellow modelers. This "stick post" should be used by everyone for postin...

Re: LiPo Battery

more than LiPo batteries I would suggest LiFe (or LiFePo) batteries. Very sturdy and stable, do not have the safety issues of LiPo batteries (except the usual overdischarge issue) and pretty small and light I am planning (already bought) to install 10aH in my 222 and 22aH in my tanks High C factor i...

Re: Build a 222

Hello, personally I completely disassembled the diff, cleaned it well with proper solvent, then filled it with 1.000.000 (yes 1 million) diff grease. it's pretty sticky, but leaves full function to the diff. If one wheel gets out of contact from the ground the others will receive a good amount of po...

Re: Build a 222

When building the differentials, please keep in mind you'll probably have to replace the diff oil with some pretty harder one

Re: KT breakdown

It will cost You some money but,
Got over to Armortek transmission. I believe that mark 1 has no hope to deal the weight for any considerable time, no matter how carefully you drive

Re: KT breakdown

Check carefully out the transmission gear of your KT. Personally I do not believe that mixing up Armortek KT and Mark-I gear is good. I do not comment the quality of the items, but Mark-I KT is in the 80-100kg area, while Armortek's is in the 160-200kg area. Frequent damage in the driving and transm...

Re: Gravel & KT's dont mix

snow could be a good playground, but it needs :
1) being very fresh, cold snow, which behaves like dust and does not stick much to the tracks (which need to be properly cooled off before)
2) hard pressed snow, the one you'll find on Sky-areas

heavy wet snow is to avoid like hell
