Re: Armorpax's 25 Pounder

Hi All, After reading the latest posts I thought it appropriate if I continue the thread with queries of my own. I hope you don't mind me piggy backing Dave. I think you will agree it is relevant to your topic. I have not used resin parts before and so would like to get tips and pointers on how best...

Re: 25 pounder update options?

Hi Dave, Sorry for the delay, the post office tried to deliver my upgrade set just as I was starting a week of night shifts last Wednesday, so I have had to wait until today, Monday to collect the parcel. What a great set of parts. They look much more robust than I thought they would be as well. I a...

Re: 25 pounder update options?

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the information and guidance. I am making final preparations to start my 25 pdr build and know it is going to be even more satisfying by being able to add such detail as your kit will provide.
Best wishes,
Ian.

Re: 25 pounder update options?

Dave, Looking forward to hearing when you start your production run. Would you be considering moulding some or all of the parts in white metal? I will be pulling my gun behind some sort of tractor and running it along with my tanks out doors. Some of the resin parts might be too delicate for this. I...

Re: First Prototype Photos

Outstanding. I saw a 1/6 th scale side plate for a WW1 tank when an acquaintance started scratch building one several years ago so I knew what the size was. however to see it taking shape still blows the mind. I can't wait to get mine when they are ready for delivery. I am very much looking forward ...

Re: 25 pounder update options?

Hi Leon,
I would also like the full upgrade kit. Do you have an idea on time scale? I have not started my build yet so they could be incorporated in without having to back track. Looking forward to the adventure. Happy New Year everyone. Waiting out the year before my MkIV arrives.
Ian.

Re: 1st (A) Btn Tank corps for me

I'll have to look that up, I think I have his book in my library, if not a trip to the local one should provide. Unfortunately we lost many tanks through breakdown during the retreat especially as there was no chance to recover them due to the rapid German advance. 2/Lt. Oldham received the Military...

Re: 1st (A) Btn Tank corps for me

Nice to hear from you Stephen. I am sure that you will get chance to make your Great Uncles Whippet. Mark and Gill must follow up on the MkIV eventually. With all the publicity that is going to be out there over the next four or five years surrounding the WW1 anniversaries WW1 tanks are going to bec...

1st (A) Btn Tank corps for me

Hi all, especially those who are going to be building the MkIV British WW1 tank next year. I have a couple of times looked into building a WW1 tank from scratch in 1/8th scale only to come to the conclusion that the tracks were too complicated for my skill set to over come. So although my other four...
