List of Mk IV's being modelled

To avoid duplication of models maybe it is a good idea for people to post details of which tank they intend to base their model on in one place.

I am building 2025, A Battalion (1st) A for ARETHUSA, Commanded by Lt. Oldham.

Re: 1st (A) Btn Tank corps for me

Hello Walter, Just found this reference in my files. One male tank 2048 2/Lt. Dudley in command March 1918. Reference back through the combat reports of 1917 should give letter and name. Why not bag this one for now until you have more information to make a choice.

Re: 1st (A) Btn Tank corps for me

I have just sent a PM Walter. For information for others though I am having trouble finding the information I copied while at Bovington's archives with the details from combat reports of the first Battalion. A warning to be careful where you put things. At least I can say with certainty that the rec...

Re: Mark IV Photos

A few years ago I went to visit the Mk IV female, FLIRT at the Lincoln museum of life and took a great number of detail photos. I would like to make them available as well. As there are a lot it might be best if anyone building a MkIV wanting a copy send me a PM and I could burn a CD for them. I don...

Re: 1st (A) Btn Tank corps for me

Pretty sure I have a load of the combat reports stashed somewhere, I will dig them out and PM you when I have them. Do you want Female or Male versions?

Re: 1st (A) Btn Tank corps for me

Hi Walter, Could you tell me where you got your rivet snaps from? I think I will get a set as well. So yours is number 37 from the production run I take it. I wonder how many have been sold, it would be nice to know how many of us are out there. Have you done any research on which particular tank yo...

Re: 1st (A) Btn Tank corps for me

Eagerly awaiting the clatter of tiny tracks or delivery of my Mk IV due to arrive on Tuesday. Might have to put up a tent in the garden to sleep in to make room. Looking forward to reading about the other new owners experiences as the builds progress.

Re: Armorpax's Limber

I was wondering how you would approach the interior detail Dave. I have put my assembly on hold for a while not being sure if the top and or the rear might have to come off again, so very happy to see your last series of photos. Any idea when you are likely to go into production on the Limber set? A...

Re: Gunner's Limber

Thanks Adrian, I have a couple of airbrushes, had them for years but no compressor. But I have not really learned how to use them. I use rattle cans, expensive I know but out of the four 1/8th scale R/C tanks I have I only painted one of them. Two were pre painted as they were bought ready assembled...

Er? A little help please, can anyone describe in simple terms how I can post my pictures in this thread. I am a bit of a duffer with internet posting techy thingy stuff.

Gunner's Limber

Hi all, Been enjoying my Limber build, although I managed to confuse myself on how to go about the assembly. I am a bit old fashioned and baulk at gluing metal. I like to prep and paint my parts before assembly and I was struggling to do this and follow the instructions order. I also had not done a ...

Re: Armorpax's Limber

Are you doing an interior Dave? I was thinking of trying to scratch build the interior, but the rest of your parts are looking so good again I am definitely interested in ordering them, interior and all. Your gun detail set was great. My gun build has stalled, but I am making good progress on the li...
