Re: Mark IV No. 35

hello all, a lot of the wear you can see on the corner wear plates are from the outside m3 button heads that attach the track plate trough the track chain in to the track nuts, good thing to look for when assembling the tracks that any thread protruding through the track nuts to file them flat, with...

Re: Quad, Mick, for the use of.

hello michael, you really need to bench test the electrics first as the manual states, then you can test the winch, and much easier at this stage to programme the sound, then I found it easier to build the chassis up with all the electrics fitted and make sure it all works before you fit the body, P...

Re: Quad Winch Cable Diameter

hello all, looking at it now I think the n/s pulley is to direct the cable to the front pulley guides on the front bumper, so the winch can be used at the front of the vehicle. like Adrian said a lot of pictures of the quad have cable guides on the n/s front bumper so this would explain the other re...

Re: Quad Winch Cable Diameter

hello phil, I think your correct that the cable follows a figure of eight pattern, the picture shows the drum and pulley arrangement, there is a guide roller next to the drum so I presume the cable winds/exits the drum on the right hand side looking at it from back to front, goes around the n/s pull...

hello Michael, glad to help with the tyres, on the text size, if you click on your tools (alt+x) which is a cog like symbol normally in the top right corner of your screen, several options will come up, click on zoom and you can alter the size of the text, normally set at 100% but that depend on you...

Re: Quad, Mick, for the use of.

hello Michael, cant see very clearly from the picture how you have fitted the tyres, but check at least 2 of the tyres need to be the other way round on the wheel rims, I think you have all five fitted the same way, so when you fit them to your quad the tread pattern on two will be pointing in the o...

Re: Morris Quad Batteries

Hello all, couple of pictures of the yucel Y9-12 batteries and electronics fitted, its a tight fit, made a few modifications to the smoker mounting, the lower rear outside mounting plate filed the corner off so I could move the smoker as far back to give a bit of room between the fan and battery, yo...

Re: John and Joe's Quad

Hello John,
Good mod to do, One point with using the dome top nuts, The tray that the electronics sit it which locates over the top of the winch only just clears the nuts on the winch so using this type of nut might foul on the underside of the tray.
