Re: Japanese Half scale king tiger build

That's an incredible model. Even at 1/2 scale it looks pretty tight to ride in. I like that it will be Porsche type turret version. Amazing dedication.

Re: How to avoid the stall?

Don, This is an interesting topic. Perhaps it can lead to insights and helpful tips....like on-line therapy sessions. :D I can't speak for others, but things that lead to stall on these projects (or any project) for me are; 1) Buying another before finishing the first. These models can be quite addi...

Tom,
Nice looking new lathe and mill. You can never have too much table travel! I like your Mods on the rear deck, I'm converting most of my lift off decks to be held with magnets. Great progress on your KT.

Re: Simon's Famo saga.

Really cool Simon, you're building FAMO and SDKFZ 7. Phil W can build three or four models at a time, so we need to raise the bar. Perhaps he has more worker elves that can work round the clock. FAMO is great model, will be interesting to see what you do on this one.

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.

One for the record books Phil. The level of detail is off the charts. So many fine details. You really put your heart into this one - its hard to tell the model from a real Chieftain. Awesome job! Really like the two tone camo.

Re: Pak 43/41 Live Firing Blanks (Video)

Very neat design of the blank shells, is that Armortek design? I remember somewhere seeing blank shells available for PAK43 long ago.

Great looking model! Interesting and informative video!

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Yes Vince that's correct. With Cyano you get instant gratification, quick bond. But the white bloom was rather bad. If I was assembling the Sterling for myself and not a quick photo shoot, I would have used epoxy or other overnight cure stuff. I don't suppose the bloom hurts anything, although it ma...
