Re: New Transmitters

The best way to test the failsafe is to jack the tank up so tracks are off the floor, select full forward on both tracks and hold in that position then switch the transmitter off and if you have set the failsafe correctly the both tracks should stop.

Re: New Transmitters

Youngjae, I would put failsafe on all channels if I was you. Nearly all radio gear has had failsafe on all channels for quite a few years now. It only used to be on channel 3 the throttle channel, which for tank users was a waste of time. The radio gear has to have 2 way communication in order to bi...

Re: Mick's Grant

Mick, your best option is to get an eight channel receiver off ebay, not that expensive but don't buy from the uk too expensive. Or you can get get a channel splitter which converts one channel in to six but it is not easy to operate. You cannot use an additional receiver because with Spektrum both ...

Re: In memory of Gill Watkins

I second every thing that Stephen has said. I bought my first Armortek kit (Panzer 111) back in 2008 and have met Gill on many occasions since then, always with a big hug. I have many happy memories of Gill, she will be sorely missed. The thoughts of myself, Chris my wife and all of the Members of t...

Re: Mick's Grant

Hi Mick, I have been using a 24 volt automatic mobile scooter charger for the last 8 years, it came free. I also have a 12/24 volt bog standard charger from Amazon that I bought when I built the Panzer 3 in 2008 and I have used it since, all it has is a boost switch and a current meter. I never leav...

Re: Mick's Grant

Do you use Component Shop for batteries Mick as they are not far from you I think. I have always used their's and the ones in the Comet and Tiger have been in for about 8 years now and they still last for 2 days at a show with out recharge. Build looks good as always.

Re: New Transmitters

I have been using Spektrum for years now mostly DX8's with no problems. A lot of our members are using FLYSKY 6 and 10 channel sets and not any problems as far as I am aware. I have fitted my own version of the encoder switch to them and never have had a problem. The only one make I have to change v...

Bryan, On the Audio Module. Elev should go to RC1 (pos 1) on the audio module, Aileron should go to RC2 (pos 4) on the audio module. RC1 loopback (pos 2)should go to pos 3 on the motion control module, RC2 loopback (pos 5) should go to pos 4 on the motion control module. To control the sounds with 3...

Re: ELEFANT WIRING

I need to know where each wire is going from and to starting with the receiver then to the audio module and then to speed control module. Socket nos and desc on the receiver. Also are you using twin sticks or single stick for track control.
