Re: New King Tiger , Tiger I and T34 components.

Nice stuff, pity the postage cost are insane. That depends on what you order. Most EU / foreign orders ship for $15.00 - $30.00 USD. The larger heavier items are shipped from $50.00 - $100.00. Also generally when there is a shipping difference I refund that amount or use it for catalog credit. If y...

Re: New King Tiger , Tiger I and T34 components.

Since the last post I have been taking advantage of the down time to work on more detail parts. Many of these new parts are retiring older cast resin parts that have been on the catalog for a number of years. Starting with the King tiger, I have tooled up two new sets. these can be found on the King...

Re: New King Tiger , Tiger I and T34 components.

The CAD files for the cooling system are now done, and are now listed as a Pre order on the catalog http://eastcoastarmory.com/kingtiger.htm. Since the last time I posted images of the kit, more detail and fittings have been added. The parts are sold in kit form and come with all the features listed...

Re: New King Tiger , Tiger I and T34 components.

Update, A pre production fuel trailer arrived last month and was built / fitted to a tiger (although this may or may not be 100% accurate for this vehicle). The test unit assembled quickly but I saw some areas for improvement with the production models. http://eastcoastarmory.com/german_parts/german...

Condolences to the family, she was a wonderful lady and will be missed. Every time I had a chance to talk with her on the phone it was always pleasant experience. God speed.

Re: Armorteks next model

Quite a few great suggestions in this post ... perhaps something there for the future ?? Without giving anything away, we can say it will not be the Cat .. at 1.8m length the chassis components will not fit on our machines :( Only 10 days left now ... WAIT! so are you telling me that this CA...

Re: Sherman

Chris got the duckbills from me years ago. They were made from sheet metal and represent the slip on pattern and are held in place with the tooth connecting bolt which needs to be drilled by the user. I always wondered how they would hold up with use since I never designed or used them on an RC tank...

Re: Late Tiger 1 commission build by Phil Woollard

Phil, the tooling marks were left on purpose as I seen some imperfections on the real unit's casting / forgings, and wanted to incorporate these in the sets. If you want to remove them a swipe of red glazing / spot putty will make short work of it. Also like Ivano said there is a guard that fits ove...

Re: Late Tiger 1 commission build by Phil Woollard

Hello Phil, first I want to say that you are doing a great job on the build and will look second to none when wrapped. Second on the gas tanks, yes they are a supposed to go in reverse directions. When I made my resin sets 10 years ago the resources I used led me to believe that they were a mirror i...
