Re: sdkfz 7 build log.

You should be proud of those lights Simon, all 3 of them. They’re very impressive.

Re: The Time has Arrived... RPR's Rolls-Royce Build(s)!

So we are closed at the shop for a few weeks due to "that which shall not be named." But it's also the beginning of farming season, so I am splitting time between ditching, vines, dragging fields, etc. and playing. And numerous other projects from a Khyber Pass 6pounder breechloader to scrimshawing...

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.

Phil - couldn't find photos, but is this any good to you?

Cant find anything at all for the metadyne compartment but as that cover is bolted down I guess it's less of an issue.

Re: KT Parts

At the risk of dragging this wildly "off topic" I too spent a fair bit of time there, just along the coast at Dhekelia. Dad was stationed at Pergamos. My best wishes to everyone on that beautiful island.

Re: COVID19

Ivano, your messages are very sober reading. I feel for you and your colleagues on the front line, as well as those many people who have lost loved ones. The situation in Italy is really awful and soon the UK could be the same. Here in Guernsey we thought this small island was relatively safe, but o...

This is an outstanding thread. I don't pretend to understand all the technical bits of an ancient RR (or any car for that matter) but I so respect the quality of your engineering. This is compelling reading.

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.

You mentioned the 40mm pipe before but it wasn’t quite clear (to me at least) quite how. Got it now Phil, thanks for the clarification.

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.

Outstanding work Phil, and great to follow. Curious though, you say "The rain cover needs to be fixed and so not move with the recoil....." but what are you fixing it to? It cant be clamped to the barrel obviously. Inboard end of the rubber bellows? Keep it up, especially now that so many of us are ...

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.

Another of your mini master classes which makes it look so simple Phil. I have to say that the change in appearance of that projector housing rear end is striking. Just adding such simple extras lifts this model to a different level.
Thanks for posting, we are all following in awe.
