Re: Chieftain build by Armortek for a US customer

What? No build log?
Nice to see how you dealt with some of the queries raised by other builders.
Other than that, looks really smart.

Re: Visit to Kubinka Tank Museum

I’m not sure how you can bear to part with it so calmly, you are boxing up and sending off a part of your soul!

This has been an excellent thread, entertaining and educational. Thanks Phil.

Very relieved for you all Kian, could just as easily have been more catastrophic.
Good luck with the remainder of the cleanup.

Re: How to avoid the stall?

An interesting thread, highlighting an issue that I'm sure many of us suffer with from time to time. Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.

As Phil's example represents a BATUS Chieftain, based/operated in Canada, might they not have used US munitions anyway? Plausible enough to get him off the hook ? :D

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.

Dave’s stuff looking great Phil, I like it. This model is truly coming to life.
To my untrained eye that butt/stock looks a bit big sat atop the sight, compared to the photo of the 1/1 version. Does it sit there ok?

Phil

My guess is the cable goes from the junction box in Stephen's pictures to the elbow shaped connector on the rear of the searchlight, outboard of the hand grip?
