Re: Chieftain Stuff

Great stuff Dave.
Re the BV, closed suits me but I’ll go with the flow. Looking forward to seeing the other projects as you get to them.
Also nice to know there’s some Cent stuff in the mix.
Cheers

Thanks Youngjae.
Sounds like good news on the whole then and the tank assembly is proving mostly straightforward.
Keep up the good work

Re: Chieftain kit arrival

Hi Youngjae
The speed of your build is impressive and it is great to see the first of these Chieftains coming alive before our eyes. My question for you - how are you finding it? Is it going together well or have you had any issues?

Switched on commanders would tape their MG butt to the top of the sight housing, so that it could be grabbed if you had to dismount the MG in a hurry and use it in the ground role.
I’ve seen a photo of that somewhere, i’ll See if I can find it again.

Re: counter balance weight size

Glad I’m not the only one! Earlier this year I took the PR dept of a ferry company to task for a similar crime. Not only was their French flagged ferry arriving in Poole with a Union Flag worn as a courtesy flag (should have been a Red Ensign) but it was hoisted upside down. Among the various excuse...
