Don't leave that 1/6 spanner where it can vibrate off into the 1/6 drive clutches! Fantastic detail.

Re: Florians FAMO build

Hello Chang,I've got it from Michal. Yes it works with that wire perfectly. Michael who? From which one of these two providers? Field of Armor (FOA) Tanks (http://www.fieldofarmortanks.com/foa-notek-field-of-armor-accessories-1-6-notek-black-out-light/)? or Armorpax (AP149-GR GERMAN FRONT NOTEK LIG...

Re: Tom's FAMO Build

Hi Tom,

This is a beautiful FAMO. Can't wait to see the tracks put on, and runs!

Maybe you already knew what I thought : Only wish you haven't glued the 4 sprocket's rubber bands on.

Wondering how cramped it is inside the turret, and has any ex-crew of the Chieftain experienced the "Claustrophobic synonym"?

Re: Tom's FAMO Build

Hi Tom, Again, two batteries are nicely sit into two tool boxes. Before doing the similar installation, may I ask few questions on your photos : (1) In photo 1, there are two Motor Control Modules (A and B). Are they working as the speed controller? (2) What is the red Module with a black knob sit h...

Re: Tom's FAMO Build

Hello Tom,

Very impressive to see you've installed almost every module in the engine bay  , which just inspire me of doing the same thing is a good idea.
Like to see more photos of the position of the two 12 Volt batteries. Keep up good works. :D

Hi Mark, PM sent.
Two questions to ask:
(1) What are these two parts for?

(2) Is the Notek light (front) also on your soon-to be-released agenda?

Hi Youngjae,

Nice to see your recoil modification on Youtube. Very cute.
Just a silly question: Do you still use a bigger counterweight, or change it back to the stock one?

Hello Mike, Refer to Yves Mouton’s method: (unfortunately all of his photos are invisible now) http://www.armortek.co.uk/Forum3b/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3161&start=30 I locked both parts together by: (1) Drilled 4 of M3 holes through the inner idle wheel (the right on here, and the left one in your pho...

Re: Chieftain kit arrival

Hi Youngjae,
One question. What's the reason to instal a longer/larger counterweight? Isn't it going to reduce the gun elevation angle?

Re: Man cave tour featuring Tiger *video*

Good film Brian. A very nice workshop indeed.

Just curiosity, unlike other AFV builders, no lathe, drill and mill machines are shown in your "cave". Any reason why?

Totally agree with Phil. The 1/6 monster, unlike his big brother, will be long lasting and fully-reliable for years to come. :D
