Re: MP40 location in turret?
OK, I think I found that the MP40 was held in a sheet metal formed tray, similar to the one that’s vertically mounted in the Tiger, although it’s in the horizontal position on the right side of the turrets wall. It’s frame also has as part of its skeleton structure, two hooks horizontally opposed ab...

MP40 location in turret?
Can anyone show or tell me where the MP40 and it’s six cell magazine pouch was located in the tank? I’m assuming it is similar to where they stowed it in the Tiger I tank...but I just can’t find anything to substantiate that.

Panther use Kugelblende 80, or 100?
Greetings,
Here’s a question: Did the Panther tank use the Kugelblende 80, or 100 in its Glacis Mount?
Holiday Peace & Cheer,
Jack

Re: Panther Barrel Dimensions
Mark, It would be nice to gain access to the hull over the Drivers hatches, and by so doing would permit the two first changes of Diameter through taper of its barrel. Only problem with the display of this cannon at the Munster Museum, is that it is in a state of recoil...probably to not only to red...

Re: Panther Barrel Dimensions
Mark, Thank you. I’ll just fly across the pond with my measuring tape, Calipers, and Covid-19 mask! :D The original barrel has several different tapers throughout its length, something that you see on many 1/35th, and 1/16th scale kits now. I will use Panzer Tracts No.5-3 and perhaps scale from that...

Re: Panther Barrel Dimensions
So, nobody knows the actual dimensions of the Panther barrel? Too bad, would really like to improve upon the Armortek inaccurate barrel.

Panther Barrel Dimensions
Could anyone please advise me of the Panthers barrel dimensions? My efforts are to have an accurate barrel turned from Aluminum from Breech to Muzzle Brake, including its threading at the MB.
Thank you,
Jack

Re: internal details turret Tiger1
Ivano,
I’d like to get one....but I’m afraid that without a decal to show the Heading Display of the internal Gyro display in the window....it would be just too difficult to hand paint.
