Re: Early or mid ? Tiger 1 build by Phil Woollard

Hi Phil, Wow you have one hec of a Tiger 1 there, ur eyes and skills to get the details correct are amazing me like. Just one thing....those flaps are not flappers in constant use as they are check valves only in use during (Tauch) submerging. Normaly they was pinned down in open position. http://ti...

Re: Early or mid ? Tiger 1 build by Phil Woollard

Hi Phil, Not a PzIV bin but an ad hock build probably from a workshop at Fallingbostel. http://tiger1.info/EN/Turret-bin-503.html #331 is a good guess just compare the missing flap at the rear LHS mudguard and the ~half broken off last fender allowing all that dirt trown up at the rear end/side. Re: My old weld tutorial

Hi Roy,

Very essential the weld stick to the surface as we run our models.
This is how I do it (better safer than sorry....)

Bare aluminium / brass or whatever-> degreased -> etch primer -> milliput welds -> degreased -> second primer -> topcoat

Never failed me.

Re: New muzzle brake

Hi all,

I would be interested in an accurate Panther muzzle that would fit the Armortek barrel.
Count me in if it would be made.

Aber make a good looking one in 1:16.

Re: Forum Banner

Hi all, Sadly thats not a ”real” Hetzer but a customized Swiss G13. The oil plugs at the drive housing and the threaded end of the barrel for the G13 muzzle says its a G13 from origin. However an Armortek Hetzer I’m sure would be welcome out there on the 1:6 market. But not for me as my Spearhead on...
