Thanks again to those who sent advice . I just didnt seem to be getting anywhere so tried an old military way . stripped down the entire drive chain from the motor rearwards and slowly reassembled it all , then lifted the model onto the floor and switched on , lo and behold we now have drive and ste...

First thans for the responses especially at this time of the year , it is this which makes the Armortek family so special . I have mostly finished the assembly of the Rolls Royce Armored car and bench tested , all OK , when the model us on blcoks to support the wheels off the ground the drive works fine using the radio control but as soon as I put the model on the floor I have no drive , any suggestions or advice will of...

Thanks for the info and the photo ., I agree doesnt seem to be a lot of difference so perhaps I have them correct ,being so new to Armortek I tend to think it is my fault if something doesnt seem right , However the forum is great for imformation

Good idea and thanks for the response , it is much appreciated , I have just checked the model and yes I do have the radiator located as per your phot o, A and my son are really puzzled by this

Welcome Roy , i am very new to the forum and Armortek , only started a Rolls Royce Armoured car about three months ago . I have always found it useful to scan the knowledge base before doing anything , always good advice there

Front and rear wheel bolts
To those who have bult the RR armored car with solid wheels , did you find that the front and rearr wheel bolds , M5 X 16 csk front and M5 X 25 csk rear
were long enough? Or did you have to do some fettling to the wheel hubs ??

Request for advice please I am very new to this but have built most of the chassis, trying on the front wheels they seem very "wobbly" with the screw done up finger tight ,any tighter and they cant move . Rear Axle
After assembling the rear axle I put the M4X6 grubs screws into the rear drum, EPO 208 , When screwed up these were slightly proud of the taper, so changed them to M4X4 , just slightly shorter but easier to remove in the future if this ever proves necessary

John thought his old Father might be geting bored with the lock down and ordered a Rolls Royce Armored Car for me to build , Part of chassis done and four of the tyres mounted to solid wheels ,So that is all three of us now building , Is Armortek adictive ??
