Re: 2019 King Tiger

They are delayed due to the company casting the tracks. Likely next month. I asked a few weeks ago, I’m as ready as probably everyone else who ordered one.

Re: Adam's Panzer III build

Very nice. I’m finally one step closer to actually building a garage and will have an actual workshop soon! Plans are approved and on to permitting.

Re: Armortek Giveaway

I'd love to have a Tiger 1 but I want to build one myself rather than buy. I do like how yours turned out. There's a lot of love in that thing, you sure you can't find a display stand or something and put it there?

Re: Armortek Giveaway

A youtube video needs to get a ton of views to make money. And it depends on the type of content. There are some creators that can make a couple of thousand dollars with a million views and then some only make a few hundred. It just depends. How about setting up a shelf in the garage or workshop to ...

Any KT update photos? I know we saw the a hybrid photo in the JT sub forum but it would be nice to see any updated prototype build here.

Re: Tom's FAMO Build

They do make smaller sizes but I chose the 36” due to the scale of these models. But yes, you would have to drill for a vent but some people vent up into the attic.

Re: Tom's FAMO Build

Tom, you have an awesome shop! I hate waiting for the weather here in Houston for any kind of outside work. For painting models and tank parts, I ended up getting a spray booth that vents to the outside. It also uses a furnace filter to get all of the big particles so it doesn't gum up the blower. I...

Re: Adam's Panzer III build

I've been looking at those from Little Machine Shop. I've also been eyeing the PM-25MV and MicroLux. All seem to be highly regarded but the PM-25MV is just a bit bigger and may offer me a bit more versatility in the future. But I haven't decided yet for sure. The HiTorque does seem to be an amazing ...

Re: Adam's Panzer III build

https://i.imgur.com/dXNHZbH.jpg Wow, do I miss my little sherline milling machine. I wish I hadn't sold it years ago, it may be time to get another benchtop mill. Getting the side hatches to line up is a pain with a file especially when I had to remove a bit over a millimeter from the base of the h...

Beginning of electronic installation

So, it's finally tank weather again down here in Houston (it's getting hot) so I am trying to get the electronics installed and setup. I have the drive system going in the correct direction and am using the single stick method. However I am hearing something in the drive train that probably should n...
