Re: Cast Texture

If you take a look in my Rolls-Royce engine thread, you can see I have a little plenishing hammer. Vibrates with a point and will actually put a wonderful cast finish into machined parts. We use it in the shop for repairing welded areas on aluminum and then blend it all together into old sand castin...

Re: Goliath Thread -- Who wants one?

I do agree though that it would be very costly to produce the complete cast hull for a Sherman but who knows what might be possible in a few years time. Cheers Tim I'd love to see everything made! The more 1/6th scale kits the better. But having quite a bit of experience with casting (including get...

Re: A request for one of you Craftsmen out there? Broadarrow stamps!

Thank you!

Looked at the site. That's some nice stuff! The 1mm and 2mm are about ideal for our projects.

Not cheap, but not outrageous, either! And as many broadarrows are found on WW2 equipment, they would get a lot of workout!

Re: Future Kits - LRDG Option

I'd love to see them do the initial Series 1 (or Series IIa LWB) Land Rover. With the core kit, I could easily do an SAS variant. Either a Series 1 (would need the frame lengthened a bit) or a 109" Series IIa. LRDG excites me just as much! But an SAS variant of either the Jeep or the Land Rover...

Goliath Thread -- Who wants one?

So I don't think I posted about a Goliath in 'this' year's survey. But pretty sure I posted about it in last years' survey. And probably a couple of times in the Next Model thread. For the record... the Goliath was the miniature mine-tank that the Germans tried to use on D-Day. And a 1:1 version wou...

Land Rover!

Love to see an M113. Very cool idea!

FT17

Mercedes staff car ;-)

I'd love to see a re-issue of the 88. But I understand that will never happen. Which is a shame. That would be the Artillery Trifecta.
