Re: StuG III (no. 24/2013)

Hello!
Here are some more photos of my DIY-lettering.
The weathering of the wheels is not yet complete.
I have also attached a picture of the finished sprocket.

Thank you for the "likes".

Re: StuG III (no. 24/2013)

Hello Roy! For the lettering, I used 2 mm and 3 mm plastic letters from the model building trade. Since these letters are very expensive in my opinion, I printed the letters and numbers for the other components myself with the 3D printer. The lettering on the wheel rubbers shown here was only a test...

Re: StuG III (no. 24/2013)

It goes on:

Next I want to show you how I worked on my sprockets. I found some inspiration for this here in the forum.
I processed the surfaces with the dreml, installed screws and added lettering.

The last picture shows test lettering for the wheel rubbers.

Hello Scott!

Try the Knupfer company. Other sizes that are not listed in the range can also be requested there.
Maybe you can be helped there.

Re: StuG III (no. 24/2013)

Hello! Thank you for the kind words! @Roy: The gunmount on the roof and the connection plate is selfmade (3D print). I designed some parts in CAD and then printed them. For this I will add pictures. Because of the colour scheme, I'm already thinking about it. Possibly a colour scheme like that used ...

StuG III (no. 24/2013)

Before the new StuG III comes onto the market, I would like to introduce you to my Sturmgeschütz III from 2013. Perhaps one or the other will feel like doing a StuG III. I was able to acquire the StuG in December 2018 through an exchange deal, and it arrived shortly before Christmas. It was already ...

Hello Martin!
The engine looks very great!
What materials did you use to make all the cables, rods and pipes?
Do you mainly work with pigments in rust wheatering?

Re: Setting up RC Systems

Hi Stephen! Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. Yes, I use a single stick driving. I made the settings, the forward driving works great after the setting, but as you wrote, there are now problems when reversing. So I have to compromise. So far I have only tested in a jacked up position...

Re: StuG III - Installation KWK limit switches

Thank you Adrian! I looked at the post, now it has become a lot clearer to me. Is there also a possibility to limit the swiveling/rotation? I've already thought about settings on the transmitter. Whether it works over the limitation of the servo travel? But there is a motor installed, so unfortunate...

StuG III - Installation KWK limit switches

Hello!

Could one of the Stug owners show a few pictures of how the limit switches for KWK are best fitted?
I would be very grateful for advice and pictures. Unfortunately, the Motion Pack assemply instructions do not help me much at this point.

Thank you in advance and best regards

Michael

Re: Wiesel 1A2 TOW

Hello Günter!
Very very nice model and firstclass work!!!
It reminds me a lot of my military service. These vehicles were also in our batallion (JgLehrBtl 353).
I would also like a Wiesel, a very handy model.

Re: WANTED Panzer IV Spring Pack

Thank you Adrian!
I could work with a thickness of 0.92 mm, but I don't find a 10mm width in their catalog.
Do you have experience drilling spring steel?
Due to time constraints, I would like to use finished leaf springs.
