Great work William,
I too started my Quad in 2017, but due to various reason including moving house I’ve not yet finished it.
I’m now on the last leg of completing my Elefant and then will go back to the Quad.

Re: Chieftain No. 34
Richard, Steve. Thank you the picture and info. I took my dimensions from 1/35 takom kit, but I would appreciate real dimensions if that is ok. Cheers Charles Check out this article from the Knowledge base on how to rescale to 1/6th https://www.armortek.co.uk/Forum3b/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=7927

Re: Chieftain No. 34
Hi Guys
The TUAAM (Tuning Unit Automatic Antenna Matching) housing was added for Clansman. Larkspur had a similar fitting to that on the opposite side if the turret.
It was the same size on all variants Both pre and post Mk10.
Hope this helps.

Hi John
Enjoying the build.
As it happens I’m using an old toaster for parts for the Elefant I’m currently building.

New Book by Micheal Fröhlich
There’s a great new book available on the Elefant on Amazon at around £25.
It is in German but google translate works really well.
There are some great pictures and really good diagrams including at the back of the book an almost complete user manual like the one for the Tiger 1.

You might want to check this book out, it’s got a lot of interior and exterior photos of the Elephant that was at Bovington Tank Museum.

Hi Phil This has become one of the most detailed builds I’ve seen so far, very impressed with the detail you have gone to. Only hope my build will be a quarter as good as yours. One small detail the top cone of the HESH rounds shoulD be yellow. Can’t wait to see the finished build and it driving aro...

Hi Steve I have Chieftain #19 safely tucked away, I’m currently cutting my teeth on Elefant #19. Like you I’ve been following the other builds with interest, there is some amazing work going on out there and it’s interesting to see and follow all the different mods that are taking place. Some are wa...

Hi Phil
Three questions, where do you get you letters from for the FV No’s and what size are they.
Second where did you get your piano hinges from.
Lastly what are you using to make the strips that go round 5he mantle cover.
