Re: The future

I've not been an Armortek owner for long (just under 2 months), it was Gill answering my multiple questions via email last year that was the deciding factor. Monique and Kian, I hope that you are able to continue to provide Armortek with great customer service and response that has made such a succe...

Re: Panther A

I'm not going to go out of my way and already plan for the "next" Armortek kit just quite yet... Have to go and pick up the full option package today from UPS... (Damned UPS cost me another $450 CDN in fees for the tank itself and the option kit...). I unfortunately have too many hobbies and the Pan...

Re: Bergepanther finishing getting ready for filming

From wiki. The Flakvierling weapon consisted of quad-mounted 2 cm Flak 38 AA guns with collapsing seats, folding handles, and ammunition racks. The mount had a triangular base with a jack at each leg for levelling the gun. The tracker traversed and elevated the mount manually using two handwheels. W...

Redoing the electrical in my garage and the subsequent milling machine purchase = gotta wait for...

Panther - Early A - Q&A

I'll start as stating that I'm a complete newbie when it comes to large scale modelling, let alone full motion RC versions... Military design and technology however always interest me to a fault sometimes. (I could spend days at Canada's war museum just looking at the static AFV's). correct me if I ...

Re: New to Armortek!

Mike - As for detail, it's up to you how far you want to take it but, from my humble experience, you'll surf Google for a bit for stuff about Panthers, buy a few books, spot a few things you'd like to try, buy a few after-market bits like jacks and storage boxes ...... and then, like the rest of us...

New to Armortek!

Hey all, Looks like I'm about to join the ranks of being an Armortek owner. I've been hunting for a 1/6 tank for a couple months, and the new Panther-A offered was too good to pass and so I went right for the wallet's jugular and jumped into 1/6th scale with both feet. Many thanks to Gill and Mark w...
