Re: Juan Ángel
I have translated original posting for easier reading 😉 Good morning to all I introduce myself, my name is Juan Ángel and I own the number 24 of the armored Rolls. I have spent three months of fun editing, admiring the careful work of Armortek and his presentation of all the pieces. I had to make sm...

Re: M3 Prototype Build
Useful to know Chris. I wasn't absolutely sure which tracks the Grant used. I can imagine economically it wouldn't be viable to do two different types anyway.

Re: M3 Prototype Build
I'm very interested in buying the Grant version of the M3. However, after a bit of research it seems that the Grant had a different track rubber to the Lee. It appears the Armortek model is coming with the T41 track rubbers which were used on the Lee. I wondered if Armortek would be providing the WE...

Re: Adam's Panzer III build
Blue should be fine for the majority of fasteners. I have been building and flying radio control helicopters for many years now, and all the fittings are blue threadlocked. As you can imagine there is a lot of vibration and g forces involved when flying and I have never had a fitting come loose ever...

Re: Help needed
When I pulled the brass collars back into the holes they were very tight to move, I'm assuming because of the residual loctite. Do you think this would be sufficient, as it would be a real pain to completely remove all the collars?

Re: Help needed
Problem solved
. I used the method suggested but without heat. As I tightened the nut there was a crack as the loctite let go, and then I could slowly wind the nut down the bolt, pulling the brass sleeve back into the hole until it was correctly positioned.

Re: Introducing myself
Hi Adam. I'm a 'newbie' as well. Although I bought my Tiger in 2015 I've only just got round to starting the build, and I've already been helped out of a potential disaster by forum members lol.

Re: Help needed
Thanks Graham. I'll have a go with the blow torch and bolt method combined over the next couple of days.
