Re: Armorteks next model

This thread is getting all too quiet! I found out I've been successful in a job application today, very kindly as a result my wife has treated me to this little guy (she's such an enabler)..I hope he gets his Easy Eight soon..though he might get a new head sculpt! Looking forward to getting this fig...

Re: Armorteks next model

Centurion MK3 is still smaller than a Jagdtiger or Chieftain and re-uses an existing CAD for the most part..Plus again, perfect timing for 2020-to 2023 time period for the anniversaries of the Korean War?

I still reckon Easy Eight though... :P

Ah yes thats the stuff. Definitely would be a stunning model. Also good timing, thinking of the anniversaries of the Korean War.

Re: Armorteks next model

I would take a part work Easy Eight any day Stephen! though I have to admit, the CVRT would be quite the sight running around at top speed! This is what I was talking about, and why I'm hoping my long time wish might come true: "From the survey we ran there are many tempting vehicles that we can cho...

Anyway..wasn't the Newsletter just saying we've had enough British and German stuff lately..last time I checked a Landie is definitely one of the those?

Alex

Re: Armorteks next model

I think I could be quite tempted by an El Alamein/ Sicily spec Sherman. My wife's Grandfather, Ron, saw the war through from the defence of France right through to the end of the war in Austria. It would be a fitting tribute to him!

Cheers!

Re: Armorteks next model

For what it's worth (bearing in mind it worked for the Famo contingent) I would be happy to support the calls for an M4a1 as long as it had the 76mm gun. If the76mm Easy Eight really is on the cards, as the survey that was sent out leads me to hope, that would be my first choice. If not, well any ki...
