Can someone explain how the real box section carriage was riveted together with conventional rivets? I can see how blind rivets could be used but how was an anvil placed inside the box sections of the carriage trails to enable conventional riveting? Another twist on track tensioning. I added an extra chain link for easy hand assembly of the track and to avoid wear damage to the front side horn covers from the recommended tight initial tension. Think this is a lovely addition to the Armortek line. Regarding the comments on German artillery I made my own scale Pak 43 for my Jagpanther. Has a gun mount as the original with a linear elevation servo and gear driven traverse on curved flat bed. Hopefully the details show in my attached photos. ...
