Futaba 7C going out of production

Hello,
I saw that Futaba 7C is going out of products line, with the new 8 channel entering its place.
Does anyone have experience with the compatibility of the new receivers lineup?
As much as I remember other receivers with more than 7 channels were prone to give some troubles.

Re: Italian Earthquake

Hello,
thank you very much.
As much as I know all fellow tankers are safe. Some of us experienced the earthquake but without damage or injury.

Re: Tank Storage

I am afraid of it.
I have a sort of rack for the tanks, BUT with ALL 4 angles WELL built.
200kg per level guaranteed by producer.

Re: Transmitters, Receivers and compatibility with Armortek

Hello, you are right. The good news is that you can operate simultaneously TWO receivers usually used by the "standard 7C" at a time from a single transmitter. This way one could operate the full tank plus many more controls like one or more animatronics, or opening, closing doors and hatches and so...

Transmitters, Receivers and compatibility with Armortek syst

Hello, some time ago I saw that there could arise some troubles/problems when using Futaba TX/RX systems with more than 7ch. I understood it was something in the signal encoding or so on. Actually I bought a Futaba T14sg for a Heli project. Reading the manual I found that it could manage simultaneou...

Re: Failure of centre Diff CJ0434

Since you are going to disassemble the center diff, I suggest you to replace the inner oil with some heavy viscosity diff grease. I managed to find some 1.000.000 yes one million grease. It's pretty sticky, but gives really good offroad performance. Even with one tire without touch to the ground the...

Re: Failure of centre Diff CJ0434

Maybe a loose grub screw that fixes the variuos parts?
or check the differential
Actually I had very good results with high density grease in the diff case.
