Re: 2021 Tiger Ring Gear
Are you going to Tankfest? If so bring a tape measure to measure my Tiger. If not then I will try and get it done for you, a rather public commitment!

Re: David's carrier build.
There is a hidden problem with the two motor solution, namely that these smaller motors seem suffer from a variation in the power that they develop. So one track appears to be less active than the other. I have been checking all permutations and hopefully once ebay delivers a solution, or near solut...

Re: MilItracks Amortek Hill 14/15 May 2022
Fiona and I made the trip to Militracks, all I can say was that it was a brilliant weekend worth every bit of the effort to get there. We were bowled over by the hospitality of our hosts, at Armortek Hill, the Museum, the village and the Campsite, we were made very welcome. If only Covid had not int...

Re: 1x24v or 2x12v battery’s and other related q’s
The smaller double 22 Ah option is the simplest. It gives adequate run time and allows space in the hull for other equipment. The can be put upright or flat depending on how things are going to be fitted in. I have them flat to optimise space and to achieve a centre of gravity with the track centre,...

I too will be interested to see what you find as a solution. I have yet to take a scalpel to pare back some of the heat shrink.

Re: Silly question time
I have gone the route of using a Dimension Engineering Sabertooth 2 x 12 and 12v battery. I have yet to connect sounds as I will have the challenge of getting it work with a rotary encoder! Steve
