Looking at the Photo of Chris and I, we've been Tangoed! It was, despite the forecast,a good day with a few spots of rain lots of wind and when it was sunny, warm but otherwise quite chilly. A good day to escape to better weather than at home!

Vince, I have not as yet lubricated the bearing, as and when I think I will use a dry lubricant such as TF2 which contains PTFE beads. I don't want anything greasy or liquid oozing from the bearing!

I have said this else where as a response to this announcement, but this has got to be a great upgrade for those of us with older Tigers. I have repaired white metal hinges twice, a hassle and a half! So a solid brass hinge is going to make a world of difference. An excellent thing to have produced ...
For those with more than one model, then my solution to the issue of using the Bind Plug with the Spektrum is to make up a Lead to replicate the Bind Plug but instead of a plain loop of wire, fit in a switch. This can be mounted in an accessible place on the Tank, the lead being as long as necessary...

The highlight of the Model Engineering Show at Alexandra Palace a few years back was seeing the progress that Derek had made on his Comet and the solutions to problems and advice that was given! So Derek, I look forward to your Famo Build equally!
Comet Storage Bins ResizedDSC_0529.png I have been working on the storage bins, the hinges are not quite right but will do, I am waiting for rivets to arrive, but with the top edge rebated into the surface of the top of the bin and a double layer for the front of the hinge it is not too far out. Th...

Our journey down was slowed a little, so on our return to Oxford we country laned it via Hursley and Sparsholt on the west side of the City so avoiding all of the snarl ups on the east of Winchester, adding only three minutes to the predicted journey as compared to what it might have taken, a top tip...
