Re: How to avoid driving gear problems....

Thank you John! That instruction clears the fog in the kit instructions. I have never accepted that it be essential that the bushing can move freely on the shaft. This is the proof! It is the sprocket that moves on the bushing when tightening! To answer your question, I use grease on the KT and Tige...

Re: How to avoid driving gear problems....

So, if the key has worked its way half way out, the excess load will start chewing on the shaft?

"I think Armortek should consider steel tracks for all their superb models."

Interesting proposition! :D

The lower one, but if you want the crank to be left in, you will have to make the modification to the plate to make it horizontal, or you risk that every bypassing rivetcounter will embarrass you.

You are on such a high level anyway, or are you going to shoot this one up?

Re: TBS5

Robert, IIRC, you have labeled your wires opposite the designations in the Benedini manual. That might have caused confusion? In other words, the Benedini no 4 is your no 1, connected to receiver channel 6. All you need to do now is to check your radio how receiver channel 6 is controlled, as the TB...

Re: Late Tiger 1

That's quite an ambitious project! It is quite graitifying to watch a cnc machine do its work, but before you get to that stage, there is about 90% of the work to do! And then the 50% consisting of assembly, blending in, machining, blackening and finishing. That's 140% just there, a ...

323 from the 503rd heavy? Good choice! :D You have developed a good feel for what details make a difference and what to skip. The wheel bolts really do stand out! Awesome! :D However, you really do need to get better idlers for this quality level, but I have a hunch that they are already in the pipe...

Re: Panzer II ausf F 1/6 self-made(Dragon)

The Sattler-Werke is busy cranking out one beautiful scratch built (Eigenbau) model after the other at an incredible pace! Again, awesome looking, the Pz 2 is both a very interesting prototype (Vorbild) and model. But, what does Dragon have to do with this? All I see is steel, aluminum, bras...
