Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Hi Vince, I’m not home so don’t have my usual references to hand. It seems some Tigers had turret zimmerit that matched the hull zim, same pattern. While others (most it seems from pics) had a broader, bolder pattern. Why, I don’t know. All depends on which specific Tiger you’re modelling? Hope thes...

Re: Wanted!

Hi Vince,

I didn't realise, I'll search for that. Although I'm never still long enough to sit at a computer, seem to live my life on my phone!

Thanks again,

Simon

Re: Wanted!

Thanks Vince,

I struggle with this site. Not knowing Geeman it's not the easiest to navigate. But I might investigate further.

Cheers,

Wanted!

I'm after some 1/6 wing nuts, Steve Winstone does a nice line, but is out of stock. Anyone have any for sale, know of another supplier, or want to join me in ordering from Steve? I'm after something solid, no white metal or resin offerings. Thanks in advance.

Re: Late Tiger 1 commission build by Phil Woollard

Phil, I notice also, what the late, sadly missed Mike Stannard made from brass is now cast in white metal; no where near as robust. It would take MS an age to turn sround an order, but it was top notch when you received it. We're lucky though, there's still a few quality after market suppliers this ...

Apologies if you've seen before:

Vince, did you look at trimming the height of the jack block?

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Mantlets with the notch were I believe originally intended for the Tiger P, about fifty (?) were made. Might want to check actual size of jack block, I know some (various 1/6 suppliers) are not to scale.

Hi Martin,

I’d like a set of the air couplers and the Tetra decals.

Thanks,

Simon

Re: Elektrikery

Thanks again Stephen, Good advice/info. I’m not really interested enough at this stage to go the programming route. Reading again through different threads, it seems the Spectrum DX8 is pretty popular, so I’ll probably go with that, even though it seems to have been around for ten years or so! Cheer...

Re: Elektrikery

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for the link. I had checked the knowledge base but saw it was more than three years old, I didn’t know if things had moved on significantly since then?
Cheers,
Simon

Not really what I’m good at! I have the older set up from 2010/11, but one of the newer motion control modules. Can I use that with the one/some of the (amplifier) older modules? What radio transmitter would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
