Re: Early or mid ? Tiger 1 build by Phil Woollard
Love all the detail going into this build, some excellent work. But your lower track brackets are in the wrong location. Here is where they should be. https://hosting.photobucket.com/albums/d189/kapernakis/track2-1.jpg?width=450&height=278&fit=bounds&crop=fill https://hosting.photobucket.com/albums/...

Camo is looking good so far.
The color to use for the unit markings is Vallejo sunset red 70.802.

Re: Late Tiger 1 commission build by Phil Woollard
FANTASTIC build, some really great details added. I do have one question about the side fender at the rear - How far down should it be. This is what I did on mine. https://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d189/kapernakis/sidefender5.jpg https://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d189/kapernakis/34rear-1.jpg And t...

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017
Vince there should be no gap between the turret and mantlet, if you go to my Tiger thread on page 3 you will see I had the same gap. I had to do a lot of filing/sanding to eliminate the gap.

Re: Tiger build
Looking very good so far.Your welds have come out fantastic and I like that you have corrected the front mudguard attachments, very few have done this. Only thing I can see that needs to be modified is the drivers armored visor.
Looking forward to more updates.

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017
Why not make the mudguards out of brass. Check out how I made them for my mid Tiger. My post is on page 11.
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1219 It looks like my pictures (photobucket) can be seen.
The Armortek ones did not come forward enough.

Re: New build Tiger 1
Hate to bring this up now but I just noticed it, on the outer wheels the hub should be recessed. Here is what I did on mine. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d189/kapernakis/Wheel1.jpg Here it is completed and after running the tank for a while, compare this with the pics above of Tiger 131. http:/...

Looks like your build is coming along nicely. Its good to see someone else making the correct hinges for the front mudguards. What material are you using to make them?

Re: Real or fake
Phil I think the editing you did is great, I like the results. Your humble opinion - I really appreciate your opinion as the pictures you post of your work is excellent(very well staged and thought out) and it can only help me to take better pictures. The shade of yellow I used is Tamiya XF-60 dark ...

Thanks Simon.
Phil I like your edit, and yes please give the "for and against" for the second picture, I know the first has alot wrong with it.
What does "bomb up" mean?
