Re: Chieftain Stuff

Dave
Great job with the BV but surely it lives internally and so would not be seen on the Chieftain unless your doing a full interior.

Re: Steve,s Chieftain #46

Hi Richard and Stephen Thanks for the info, looks like I will have to travel a bit if I want to see one. A few years ago I had access to a Centurion on a farm near Bury which helped when building the Cent kit, there was also a Chieftain mk11 in the same building but I failed to take any photos of it...

Re: Steve,s Chieftain #46

Before I start my Chieftain build I need to decide on a particular vehicle. I live south of Manchester and wondered if anyone knows of a Chieftain in the North West that could become the inspiration for my build ?

Re: FAMO Front seat question

Hi Derek I don’t think your being thick, when I built a Famo I found there were areas that required “inventive solutions” to assemble. I cannot remember exactly how I got round some of these issues but it can be done. Sorry for not being much help, but at least you now know it’s not you missing some...

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.

Hi Phil
A top job your doing as usual, Do you have the dimensions for the rear plate/belly plate mod you have done. No point in re-inventing the wheel if I don’t have to.

Re: Late Tiger 1 commission build by Phil Woollard

Hi Phil
That looks the dogs danglies now it’s done, wasn’t sure about the winter camo at first but now it’s complete everything blends into a very convincing replica. Your customer should be very happy with his new Tiger.

Re: Hi all,

Hello Manny, Charles, Andy and Paul
I have a Chieftain on order and should be receiving it in the near future. I live near Stockport south of Manchester so am the fourth Chieftain owner in the North West. Hopefully we can have a get together sometime in the future.

What a fantastic job you are doing with the FT. I love the detail you are putting into it.
Looking forward to seeing a video of it driving and stearing with those track brakes.

Re: Hi all,

Hello Charles Great to see new owners joining the more established tank nuts. I am waiting on a Chieftain myself and having seen the prototype can say that it’s a beast. Armortek owners up north are fairly thin on the ground but 2 names that do spring to mind are Paul Morris (Paul’s tank workshop) a...
