To put my twopeneth in the pot, I reckon a Churchill or Matilda for the allied choice ( both been in pieces at Bovington recently) and a Marder or a panzer IV for the German contenders. Whatever the choices are they will far superior to the fibre glass contenders out there ( don’t mention oil soaked...

Dave’s Borrowed Chieftain #47

Chieftain no 47 arrived today after pacing up down like an expectant father . I hope to research and build Chieftain 02EB71 Mk6/2 built 1966 assigned to the QMT Bovington Armour centre in Sept 1979. In 1982 ish the tank Museum arranged for a mate and myself to play tank crew for a day for services o...

Re: Armorteks next model

Shoutout for the scammel pioneer ,a superb off road gun tractor, recovery vehicle, and tank Transporter . Used in most theatres of WW2, prized by axis & allied forces, so can utilise the full range of Armortek artillery, shorter in length than most tank transporters. Would appeal to all the Scammel ...

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.

Found this lovely old driver training film whilst researching the old girl. Take a look at the driver training ground including the simulator and the Tank Museum itself back in the 60's, that sure has changed a bit! https://youtu.be/3sklkqjZ8KU The driver is an expert for sure just listen to those ...

Armortek Blank firer

Blank firer mk 2 for sale, assembled but not fired or used, it has fittings for the tiger 1 but could be adapted for other models, if collecting in person (M1 Jn 33) there are testing caps and full blanks to go with it.
Tried to add pics but they are too large to load apparently , cheers Dave Wilks

Re: Armorteks next model

I recognised some of the photos, hopefully it will not need big batteries or a sound module and would definitely be Armorteks finest work to date!
Ps . do we get 50% discount if we name the beast ?
