Re: Smokin' out the office

Wow looks and sounds great. I was thinking engine smoke! The puff-puff-puff effect would be good for engine as well. Very cool!

Re: RT Late Tiger One

Hi Robert, on my Tiger there is similar gap. I filled it with thin strip of metal on both sides, of 0.5-0.6mm thickness. The thin metal strip will protect the miliput weld seam from getting broken off as you lift off the turret roof. My turret roof is also removable and held with magnets.

Re: Roy's StuG III (no. 2020/10)

Hi Roy, regarding your box. What do you use for the metal bus bar? I assume there's a metal strip inside there somewhere to transfer the electricity to all terminals? Sure is a cool set up.

Re: Roy's StuG III (no. 2020/10)

Roy your wiring is awesome! I really like your junction box. Is that home design? I've been looking for commercial power block without much luck. Most of them I can find have huge thread terminals - overkill for tank model. Yours is really nice and compact. Love your speaker set up as well. Great id...

Re: CAD

I still use Autocad for 2D DXF editing - for laser cutting, nesting flat parts and some flat sheet machining. But I don't like it for 3D modelling, esp compared to more Intuitive platforms like Solidworks, Inventor, F360. I'm sure someone out there "loves it" it tho. You can nearly a...

Re: CAD

I don't think you can beat Fusion 360 for features and price. There's other CAD program out there, but none have the features that F360 has for home users. Decent CAD, cloud sharing, Illustrating and Rendering, Analysis and FEA, CAM machining, 3D printing slicer. Its pretty easy to use - tons of tut...

Wow beautiful job. Are you going to finish it out as armored car - or leave it as a chassis? Lovely job.

Re: Muzzle Brake

Looks really good Vince. So satisfying to design and make your own parts. Did you buy a printer, or find someone locally with a Resin one?

Re: Tiger 1 late variant breech

Hi Vince,
I was able to open link and view your model. That is a neat feature in F360. I was able to rotate and explode the model. Nice work.
Best regards,
Bob

Steve
Excellent makeover. The turret and gun detail is really nice. I liked your first camo job, but this is much better - very unique looking. Nice work all round.
