Re: Tiger build

Thanks for the reply Mark. I figured you'd have to make some kind of rails for the router to move on. Take light cuts etc. Your results look good. Your mudflap frames look great. You must have access to CNC? Also the rear deck support bracket behind the turret (with holes) - is that home made? Mine ...

Re: Real or fake

Nice KT photo Phil. That tree is just the right scale. If that is a model, the scale and background are superbly placed to give the 1:1 look.

Re: Tiger build

Hi Mark, Can you add a few details how you "milled" the rear deck with Router? I am currently stalled with same problem. Removing the rear hull plate to lower it - involves complete disassembly of the hull with welds, RTV sealant etc. I'd like to mill it in situ but didn't think of using the router....

Re: Militracks 2019

Thanks for fantastic pictures. Nashorn! Does it run? It does look like an awesome show. I love all the videos people post from there. Glad to see tanks get added to the mix. The Panther A is from Saumur with a new paint job? It looks better than before - but it could be a different machine as well. ...

Re: Novice Late Tiger Build.

Glen
I think your zimmerit looked great. It was a bit untidy being applied by hand on real tanks, as you mention. Its supposed to be rough looking.
Normandy camo is looking good on the wheels.

Really looking good Martin. Lovely details. I will be interested to see how those LED for the flame dampener turn out. Super work sorting all the electrics sorted out.

Re: Phils Famo build

Thanks for the video Phil. Lovely Famo. I thought it interesting the first bogey wheel wanted to turn backwards when FAMO was going forward or back. Some great details in that machine.

Re: Bergepanther "A" build log.

Phil Your Berg is fantastic. If I had that kind of money I'd scoop it up. My money must go for kitchen upgrades and fence. :x  I''m sure you will find a happy buyer. Your builds of late are another level of detail. Really enjoyed following them. Although I was a little miffed there were not mor...

Re: Tiger build

Beautiful work Mark - I agree those tracks are perfect. I was planning on doing similar to my Late tracks, plus adding the ice cleats etc. Great details all around. Your Tiger will be superb when finished.

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Those look great Vince. Mine are the white metal version - I need to put the handles in them in same way. I screwed the track link to the turret so as not to rely on the clip to hold the link. The white metal ones are not quite long enough or strong enough to hold the link by themselves. Looks like ...

Re: Adam's Panzer III build

Nice looking P3 Adam. So satisfying when the tracks go on for the first drive. True milestone. I cannot tell if that noise is metal rubbing or electric motor noise. The motors have a reduction drive gearbox which will make some noise. As long as nothing is rubbing the hull (main sprocket or sprocket...

Beautiful work Frank. I love 3D printed parts as enhancements to these tanks. Those are some very complex grates. Very nice work.
